Alaska Chicken Lover's Soup for the Cold!!

WW, sounds like you need to get to butchering before you lose them all. How old are they now? 8 weeks is a critical point from what I've noticed. Heck
at 5 weeks old mine are ready to go in the freezer, but still have another week before we can get to them. We haven't lost any of the 20 we started with.....(yet) lol

HI everyone... I hope it's as nice where you all are. Not a cloud in the sky here today.... And I have projects!

11 weeks old today. Time is the problem here too, but I have been trying to make sure they are comfy, cool and lots of water and they get their tractor moved each day. I did all my chores this morning in between customers while Sam went to town... once he gets here, the supplies get put up, dogs fed and I'm going to get a few more harvested today.

It IS gorgeous out today, glad that the wind had picked back up, it's miserable when the wind is gone. Too hot and too many bugs!!

GVEA picked today to change the transformer behind my house, so I covered the incubator with a Towel, and in 40 mins, they were done.....

There are 9 empty shells in the incubator, and 6 pips....Hope they continue!

11 weeks?!?!

I bet ya that's probably what's going on. You can do everything in
the world for them but anything past 8 weeks is a gamble when it comes to the cornish....
