Yup, my Campine is a lil runt too!!

Mahogany, yes. And I'm hoping to hatch all mine and imprint them and keep them nice and friendly. Once they are old enough they will be in a separate coop from everyone else. There are not very many Mahogany flocks that I know of! The reason I centered on the Mahogany is that EVERYONE has spotted and spangled and splashed and barred and mottled and bangled birds and I just wanted one that had proud bearing and striking color

When I saw this rooster, and the gorgeous fall colors on him, that's what I wanted!

We're having a monsoon here. It hasn't topped raining all day. At a steady downpour. It actually pretty warm, but it's one of those rains that soak you in a minute or less. At least I have a cozy cabin and internet access right?

So, when I leave, you all decide it's time to get together...

Deb, the Red laced white (WLR?) are pretty, they're a standard size right?

I didn't order chicks!! It's just barely sprinkling here, but it did it enough that EVERYTHING is soaked again and I'm not much for using power tools in the wet

much as I'd like to get that tractor done, it will wait til it dries some.

Aimee! I forgot to tell you, the lil Porcelain that you gave me... he's not gotten much bigger, fits nicely in the palm of my hand...lol I'd moved the watering bucket the other day (nipple waterer in bucket) and when I went back a couple hours later I saw the poor lil guy hopping up to try and get water - he's too small to reach!! Previously it was near a 2x6 that he could stand on... I reached my hand down under the waterer and he hopped right up on me to drink! Smart lil bugger!

I ordered the White laced Red Cornish....Not sure if they are pretty or not, but I'll certainly be sharing photos....I ALMOST ordered you the Golden lace Polish but

Bonnie, GOOD! I was wondering what they looked like.....I'm excited though, we'll have some new meat birds
to play with. If nothing else we can butcher them throughout the winter...
