She got a Delaware rooster, Ameraucana rooster, and a couple of Ameraucana pullets night before last. A few days before that she got a Delaware pullet and 2 ducklings. Just didn't know which day you were referring to.

LOL! You think SHE has a lot of animals...
The Delawares are older, the Ameraucanas are still teenagers, and the ducklings are only 3-4 weeks old. She'll do fine if she takes good care of them.
As hard as it will be I am NOT going to take the cot and sleep in the store with Willow. Abnormal actions will just make things worse for him I believe. He already knows that mom and dad are upset, so as much as I don't want to, I have to let him be where he's comfortable and what he's used to.
Tears come and exhaustion will set in, but I must do what's best for HIM, not what's best for ME and often that's so darn hard. Normalcy is one of the toughest things to do for a pet when all you wish is to fawn over them and will them better.
There is no preparation, there is only knowing, and waiting and hoping.
Love ya Willow... sleep well and we will see you in the morning.
