Hunting season ends Saturday, and since Joe just got home today and was gone for the most of it, he's going to go out for the next few days and see what he can find. After that, would be cleaning/packing, if he gets one of course, but we could probably head down sometime next week.??
We would like to do one more camping trip, so we could kill two birds(I know poor choice of words) with one trip...
Since I'm home schooling, stuff like this is much easier!

Bonnie, I'll have to get you some estimates...depends on the age you pick.

If you want a FOR SURE silkie hen, I have a white hen that's about 1.5-2 years old. I really have a hard time with the chicks... you know, the Sex-change Fairy likes to mix it up for me.

I have lots of Sexlink girls, so no worries there.

Is she a good broody already? That's really what I'm shooting for in Silkies. I'd like younger but...... my luck with hatching eggs isn't so great so I'd like to have at least ONE to brood.

I see a building project coming... *sigh* If the sexlink girls could be about the same age as the Orloffs I have... and no I don't know what that is right this second, I'll go look...lol​
