Alaska Craigslist uproar - oh, the humor! NOT!.. I'm done.

I'm pretty sure they're fully aware of what's going on. I think they need to take the flagging out of the hands of the people, and just have a "report" button like we do here. It's just sad to lose a source of free advertising like that, especially when you're in a fairly remote area like I am.

Boy, those flaggers sure are fast, now. I think the only reason my last one stayed up for 5 hours was because I'm so far west on the time zones. I tested the theory that it was my IP address, so I posted a non-account listing with my yahoo account email...nope... gone in 2 hours. I just posted my own little farewell rant, I feel better, and good riddance. Sheesh.

I have been emailing the "Why did I get flagged" people and telling them exactly who and why they are being targeted along with providing them all the phone numbers to contact craigslist directly. I also suggested contacting local media outlets

WOw I had to visit the AK f&G and I must say those flaggers really have no life! It is amusing but I feel bad for everyone tring to sell their livestock or livestock products, especialy the add about Flaggers won, no more angora goats. If they were closer Id email them, Im looking for an angora.

I think the finger pointing at Alaskaslist.com is to keep people from going there.

There are other areas of the country that are having the same issue, so I don't think it is a few people trying to drum up customers for their own website.

Apparently, one of these flag happy idiots is ON THE GOVERNMENT PAYROLL and working for the Alaska DOT!
