I have them in an egg carton right now, with the pointed ends down, so they can set.
Amy is supposed to come over tonight, and she is going to help me set up the Bator.
I will put them in tomorrow morning.

This is just so dissapointing.

Another idea, just to make sure they don't stick to the turner, is to place a small piece of paper-towel around them. At least for the night......if they stuck to the paper throw them out. If they don't
stick remove the paper and continue on with your hatch. That's what Im going to do with my next shipped batch, I'm not taking anymore chances. It made a heck of a mess
and had to tear the incubator apart to get all the yolk out of it. Now my humidity is sitting at 70%......ugh!

I am going to have the eggs Re-Shipped, but it won't be for another week or 2.
Jennifer is not going to be home for another week and a half, and she said she won't trust her husband to do it...
Darn my luck!

I have had eggs shipped form Washington that took 5 days and from Texas that took 3. I don't get it....

Beautiful babies Pandora.
I'm sorry Ashia about the eggs. There is nothing more depressing than seeing egg yolk all over the inside of a box of eggs. Can you get more?

I'm going to try. Probably no more this year though. I don't want adolescent birds in the fall.
I will be happy with what I have right now.

The Eggs are going into the Bator tomorrow morning.
Everyone, keep your fingers crossed. My FIRST TIME EVER.!

I can't believe I am saying this...
But....

I am loosing my Incubating / Hatching Virginity!

You can say that again!! Good deal Ash! You'll do great! Just remember it's not the
end of the world if they don't hatch.....They had a rough start. Don't be too down
about it, you could be surprised and get a 100%! Crossing our fingers and toes for ya!

Downside:
I have 11 BCM eggs to go in.
If I can get 1 to hatch, (and live), I'll be happy, and if I can get 2 or 3 to hatch, I am going to be THRILLED.
Being it as it may be though, as damaged as they all were when they got here, I will be SHOCKED if I can get a Single one to hatch.

Upside:
Amy is SO unbelievably considerate and thoughtful, that she gave me 12 eggs of her own to stick in there.
So no matter what, I should have SOMETHING come out of there.
I think it's so sweet of her to give me something to look forward to.
This way I won't feel like it was in vain.

I really do appreciate all of you guys.
Everything that you have done for me. Taught me so far.
I feel blessed to be able to get to know people like you guys.
Amazing how total strangers can open up their hearts to someone they just met.
I'm grateful for all of you.

Thank you again, and I am glad that you will all be here with me thru my first journey thru "Hatchington"

(I just realized that that was totally corny! I couldn't help it!) LoL

Oh, BTW. Amy helped me setup the Bator.
I wanted to ask. The Temp is holding this morning at 98.8. Is that OK?
Also. The Humidity fluctuates between 45 and up. How high is TOO high?
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks again guys!

Those temps are fine, and the humidity should stay in the 45-55% range for the first 18 days. Maybe a little less if they're all BCM, but it won't hurt them.
