Well, SOME good news. #3 is doing much better now and is out under mom. I'll keep a close
eye on them all. When I put food right there in front of her she starts crunching it up and calls
to them. The two healthy ones come running....#3 doesnt have the hang of that yet but soon will, I hope!

Splint ran off to Ashia's house....He was headed for the stew pot next Tuesday if I didn't do something......

Speaking of which. I have one really nice Dellie Roo that'll need a home by Tuesday. Tuesday will be butchering day
for anyone that's old enough and not a pullet. So if you know anyone wanting a really nice Roo.....Let me know ASAP...He's $10 (Hatched 4/10)

*sigh* I think one of my Spitzhaubens, Quartz, has an impacted or sour crop. She puked on hubby tonite

So, I massaged her and placed her in chicken jail for the night with vitamin water and a towel to snuggle on. Going to go put some ACV in it too...

You can give it a couple of drops of mineral or olive oil, be careful not to squeeze it down the wrong pipe. After lubing her gullit gently kneed the lump and roll it around to get the oil in it. If worse comes to worse mrs.akbb can walk you through DIY surgery.

The king runs are poor everywhere this year. My son works for Fish and Game and he say it looks bad. They were hoping the runs were late but i haven't heard that they have.​

This is the exact coloring of the EE I got from 3D. She doesn't look like an EE. No puffy cheeks, she has the same basic look/feathering type? as a BR or Orp, but the same coloring as in the picture.
What do you think? Did I get an EE, or something else?

I think next year we all need to get together and order it. It's much cheaper in shipping if you
get more folks to order.....We decided we have enough for this year but next spring I'll probably be looking
for more Avia Charge......

Well, yes, the picture is of a cochin, lol, the one I have is for sure not a cochin. The picture was to show color.
