Ok So Im trying things just a little different this time around. I popped my humidity up to 66-70 and its day 19. I have 9 pipped out of 12 so far...(Dellies).....I might get a good hatch! YEA!!

We are up to 11 pipped, two out.....hummm.....Im second guessing my humidity levels!....It's at 75-80 now that some have come out.....To me that seems a bit high but whatever it is, its working!

That's a great hatch then!

Mine has done the same with the humidity when the chicks start hatching. It doesn't seem to be a problem. 8 Norwegians are out, 2 more zipping. Its day 20 so the last 3 might come through yet.

Tori, I put my 6 week old BCMs out in the greenhouse with Mr. T and a friend. There are 9 of the rowdy little blighters, and he keeps them very gently in line (a couple of pushy guys tried to brace him and he just growled and pecked their beaks gently a couple of times) Last night half of them stayed out with him. At midnight when I went to check them he was in the center with all 5 cuddled up to him very comfortably. Now how's that for an awesome guy!
The last Jaerhon just hatched. 13 in lock down 13 out.

Here is a picture of a few of them in the brooder.

Aww... That's awesome Donna! Mr. T is a sweetie.

Now, my understanding is that the Jaerhons are sexable at birth by the coloring, right? I think it's great that you're hatching them! May I ask, who did you order the eggs from?
