The introduction has started. Took to the roost no problems, its nice and dark. I'll have to be up before the sun though!

Sheesh. Donna, I think I may have to pass on the BLRW, for now obvious reasons.

I swear, we're going to have to start talking in a whole different language...

But, m'dear, FBCM is French Black Copper Marans, which is what we have already. I'm trying to get a little bit different bloodline worked in here, is that ok?

Thanks - this is the first large hatch I have ever attempted. I don't think we did too badly considering the used/old incubator and the fact this is only the 4th batch of Chicken eggs I ever set (1st batch over a dozen).

But now I have the bug...
when the weather warms I will have to order some hatching eggs, to add new blood to my lines.
