My Postmaster is awesome though, he calls if anything even LOOKS like an egg box. Of course he's a friend and its a very small P.O..

BCM #2 is out #3 still piped but active. Nothing from the other 3.

And I think I have 17 of the Wildwoods out now... I have 5 or six of the Blue Laced Red x's and I think 2 or 3 are splashes.

#5 was doing so well, so I put her in with the others and went out to collect eggs. A half hour later I come in to check on her, and she was squashed flat.

So three is my final count, but those three are going strong!!

Hey guys?
Got a Q.

The Pendesenca eggs that are Cooking for me, apparently, my friend never incubated shipped eggs (just her own), and I didn't know any better at the time.
They arrived at my house mid-afternoon, and she put them into the Bator at about 8pm. We didn't know they were supposed to sit for a day!
Did we just kill them all.???

(I think I'm gona cry!)

Hey Ash,

You are "supposed" to let them settle after they are shipped. It doesn't mean you have killed them all, it might have decreased your hatch rate though. It
just all depends on how rough they were treated on their way up here.

Does anyone else know a little more on this? I'd like to know if there was really any studies done on this or if its just a rule of thumb?
