Okay, I bought two Light Brahmas since they're so sweet, and my FIL is taking mine out to the bush with him, and I got that one huge cochin, that was all alone because I'm a sucker and I felt bad for it. She's sweet though and ready to be outside so no brooding! The LB are a week younger than the BCMs I hatched and went right in to the brooder with them. They are almost ready to be outside.
I just didn't want to start at day one again,lol.

He also said he'll be getting more of the unusual breeds next week. And the heritage turkeys this week.

I know I'm not the only one with a problem and it makes me happy. I really, really try to stay at the 4sq ft per bird rule, I'm really pushing it now. I have to get rid of some roos later. I would love to have one fabulous BCM roo and re-home the others. The hard part is deciding which BCM will be the most fabulous!

Okay all so your healing thoughts are working great for me, Im sore but hey I just hade my back cut wide open right!

Sooo I have a huge favor please send happy thoughts to not have my grandpa's cabin burn in the gilles creek fire as it heads towards Quartz Lake. My grandpa got up here in 62 was the first person to own land on Quartz and even help the state put the first road in, he and my grandma past on a few years ago and this is still a super happy place for all of us to remember good times. Its less than two miles at the moment and moving fast thanks all in advance.
