No, no painting was involved. She's pretty red!

The two on the left are going to be girls, the one on the right a roo. I have 11 babies, 4-6 weeks old, that I'm waiting to grow out. I sold all of my chicks that I hatched in Feb, with the exception of two roos, and one looks very very promising.

The other has a lot of partridge on his chest, and will likely be sold or culled.

I have one blue copper marans, from Patty, and it looks like a girl.

Aimee, the RC is rose comb... and Ideal said they were sold out this year. I think they would do really well up here, if they survived the shipping.

They would do good up here. I saw that MMH has them, but only males.

Such cute chickies you gals have!

I am still going in to check 3D next week, I want one more Americana

They just got in a bunch on Friday. I was there today and got 4 for my youngest son who thinks a coop is not complete without Americanas. They looked real good. You probably don't want to wait too long.

My first attempt at a video...
hmm.png

a) my voice sounds weird
b) it's grainy
c) it's too dark

But you get the point... I... don't... need... any... more... chicks....

Aimee, remember when you were here? I have 4x as many birds now.

I just had to share. My mom picked up these little guys the other day, ADORABLE. Makes me kick myself for not doing chickens! lol! She wants me to hatch some bantams for her though

.

The tan colored ones are her little frizzle cochins.

And this little guy is soo cute and kind of a mystery chicken... she has others that look a lot like it that are full size (this ones a bantam).

She has some that are full size that look like the last one, one has black feathers on his wings, red feathers on his head and red tips on some of his wing feathers??
