I'm currently trying to hatch a few silkies as a summer project right now. That's how I found this site. I had some questions, this place answered them. I thank everybody! I really hope they hatch...
Well, I am from Alaska. Chickens didn't do too well in the town that I lived in. Too much rain. So when we moved, I was all about the animals! Chickens are the cheepest (See what I did there?CHEEPest?) Animal to have, so I started with those. I fell in love!
I have four barred rocks, six rhode island reds, one buff orpington, three golden sex-links, and I'm hatching silkies! I have 12 eggs, but you know what they say about counting chicks before they hatch! I look forward to asking a BUNCH of questions! Look out backyardchickens world!
