I have seen quite a bit of discussion about Purina and Nutrea feed. Does anyone know anything about Albers feed? Good, Bad, Concerns? The feed store closest to me sells this brand and it is about $2.00 cheaper then Purina at other feed stores. Any opinions would be appreciated. I am thinking about feeing the All Purpose to my chickens as a grower.

Thanks!

I did notice that the protein is a little low and that concerned me.

I don't think that Purina Start & Grow contains animal components. According to their website it is made of plant materials.

I know that there are quite a few feed stores selling Albers feed here in the Pacific Northwest and there are a lot of members here in the NW. I suspect that some of you have tried Albers feed. Any opinions from anyone that has used it? Please? I need to buy another bag of feed by early next week.

Thanks.

I have only ever used Albers feed. I have always had good, healthy chickens. Does anyone know if it's GMO or not?
