Hey all I have had great success with my call ducks this year, for the most part they are done for the season.

My last incu eggs yielded a solid white call duck.

I have no white hens or drakes.

Khaki trio, chocolate trio, lilac (2 drakes and 1 hen), splash (Blue, lilac, and black hens), 2 two blue fawn hens.

Has anyone ever gotten an albino call duck? It has NO markings, red color eyes in the light, orange bill and feet.

Any info would be helpful. No pic right now, but everyone knows what an albino looks like, so I don't feel it's necessary.

thanks in advance...
Kate

You will always get a Genetic throwback from Rarer colors of calls because someone introduced White Or Grey Call duck genes into the rarer color so the offspring would have better type and color.

I know a Call Duck Breeder from Texas that has a Self Black pair of call ducks and she let the duck go broody on some eggs and the duck hatched out 2 Self Blacks, 3 Blue Bibbeds, and 1 Blue Fawn/Grey.
So somewhere along the lines Grey genetics were added.

ok, now i'm awake and took pics. Maybe orange was too strong a color choice... it has a light orange/pinky bill and feet, they have gotten lighter, just looked more closely.

This's the breeder from Texas call duckling. If you look it has almost the same color of legs and bill.

Does your duckling have red eyes? If it doesn't then it's not an Albino
