I know this as far as lack of pigmentation, i have a degree in biology and have been keeping birds a very long time. I don't like to keep the birds in full sun as it bothers their eyes. If i manage to get a better picture i will post it.Certainly not saying you're incorrect. I even charged my laptop so I could see if it showed better than on my phone. All they show are a reflection of the pupil and a dark iris.
Albinistic animals lack pigmentation in the pupil, the pink you see is actually blood vessels.
A full sunlight photo would probably show it best.
Mine all came from the Schofield Silver Collection Coturnix line. The second generation had lots. Curious to hatch some of their eggs but i need to cut back right now. They seem to be random - I have an albino chick out of a batch of 12. Yellow with red eyes, at first I thought it was blind as it kept its eyes closed. It would walk in circles, stumble around and had little interest in eating. I mixed its food with probiotics, honey and water to make a sort of vitamin juice to feed it with syringe. It can find the water dispenser okay now, still stumbles around and sometimes walks over the other chicks...
