Yes....I noticed he was pecking at the ground around the Lil food dish, but he wouldn't go all the way to it. So I put some starter in my hand and put it right up against his beck and then sprinkled it on his feet. Then he started scratching and eating.

Yes I'm going to keep him. Not going to name him yet. Don't wanna jinx it. When I researched some of the sites were negative about survival, not this 1 tho so I joined. He is gorgeous. Ty
