Albon for sour crop?

@casportpony someone gave me this advice:

She needs vitamin E and selenium asap. Albon is used to treat coccidioiss not sour crop. Nystatin is used to treat sour crop. I'd also give her some b complex drops, organic uncooked oatmeal over her feed along with diced baby kale.

What do you think?

I don't think so. I think it is an antibiotic.

I don't think you should feed anything but a complete chicken feed.

IF she has Coccidiosis it can be basically tearing up her intestines and not be letting her get all the nutrition she needs which can lead to wry neck.
The vitamins you mention above are used to help treat wry neck.

I'm not familiar with albon. I need to double check to see if it treats Coccidiosis. I will do so now.

I would follow @casportpony ’s advice that she might have coccidiosis. Albon is a sulfa antibiotic. She explained the many things it can treat in post 4. Crop stasis can happen during coccidiosis and other illnesses. You pullet looks young, and lethargic, and coccidiosis is very common in young birds with those symptoms. More common than sour crop in youngs birds.

Would corid not be better for coccidiosis IF her crop is sour, rather than a sulfa antibiotic that would make a potential yeast infection worse?
