Do you have some good reading sources on this?Sour crop = crop stasis, which can have many causes.
Interesting, thank you for the info. Need to get my hands on some poultry vet manuals. It seems like many vets go with Albon or sulfadimethoxine for coccidiosis symptoms. It is what most people here suggest if Corid is not working and a chick is doing worse. I think this bird probably doesn’t have sour crop since she is so young, but sour crop can be caused by bacteria or fungal/yeast infection as well. I have read where some vets prescribe both an antibiotic and an antifungal for sour crop, but I have no experience dealing with vets for sour crop.
I can find some for you.Do you have some good reading sources on this?
It’s not that I don’t believe you, I’m just genuinely confused haha. I thought those were two different things.

I too think your bird looks like she is ill from Coccidiosis.@KikisGirls so you think I should be giving her those vitamins in addition to the Albon? Should I see if the vet would also give me an antifungal to use also? She and her sisters are all still on the chicken starter, I have been giving her that... just watering it Fown so it’s soft. Not sure I’m doing the right thing for her! Help!
