One of the eggs pipped on the underside on the correct end and a little bit of goo is coming out of the egg. Is that normal? The other pips I have did not have that happen. I'm still new at this.

anyone? Are chickens really this gooey. That didn't happen with the goslings.... new to chicks.

I found that happened in a hatch I had where the temp was a little too low. Not enough moisture had left the egg- leaving it sticky with some albumen still left. The humidity needs to be maintained to stop them becoming glued into the egg. BUt if their is too much left in the egg the chick may drown before it hatches. Anyway you can turn that egg over a bit ?? The goo could plug up the pip hole and cause issues for breathing.
