Algernon in front of the COOP!

The tough BA girls beginning to accept him.

He made it! You should see him stand out there with the whole "This is MINE!!!" thing going on.

The juvenille PRs cockerals and pullets still frankly don't know what to think.

I'm just delighted it worked out. I couldn't see him hit a pot when he was actually such a looker.

That's my first brush with buying a sick bird, but I'm glad it worked out. He's still sweet and gentle and now he "putts around" out there just about dancing, talking for awhile and then crowing for sheer joy.

I just couldn't see such a good looking fellow going into a pot when he actually is NOT a bad specimen. And he's nice. Since I'm starting from production stock I couldn't not give him a chance. And he already stands out in front and DARES anything to come near his coop and his girls. Which really is something I needed with all juvenilles.
