Tim Burton's movies are dark, I agree on that. I don't really like most of them. I think I maybe got a kick out of Corpse Bride, but that was about it. My kids begged me to rent Coraline, and while they enjoyed it, it creeped me out! I don't ever want to see that movie again. Overall, I don't think most of Burton's movies are good for kids. I don't plan on letting my kids see Alice in Wonderland. A river of heads? What is up with that? Talk about straying from the original script! I like Johnny Depp a lot as an actor, he is very versatile and very gifted, but I won't be viewing this one. Sorry Johnny, no matter how cute you are! (And he really doesn't look cute in this movie!
