Wow! I love them! I always feel awkward using color, so my drawings are half clored! My favorites are... oh, actually all of them!

It is nice sometimes to have half colored pictures, so that you can highlight certain parts!

Those are beautiful butterflies!

I love the little butterflies I find at my cabin in the mountains. They are about the size, maybe smaller, of a quarter and are white with specks on the outside and blue to lavender on the inside! They appear in the hottest season and we love to chase and catch them! (And release of course!)

I think it's an Echo Azure (got the name from iNaturalist). Here is a picture we took:

I just watched this video by John Muir Laws, and drawing birds seems so much easier now! I realized I try to do too many details to start with. I'm ready to start nature journaling now as soon as the weather clears up and I find a sketch book!

my 2nd fave is the pink-striped oak worm moth
my 3rd fave is the Monarch
