Here are two of my prettiest first Camilla (hope she doesn't actually become Carl) as a baby then two shots taken tonight. She is looking more like a hawk every day. They are all 3 weeks old tomorrow.
And now Luna. She is VERY camera shy and I had a tough time getting this photo of her. She is the one we think looks like an Owl when she looks straight at you.
This is Betty. Her eggs are a nice blue green and larger than my other eggs. She alos lays nearly every day even though this current heat wave has all my girls a little slower than normal.
This is Dora the Explorer. Our first day with her she flew into the neighbor's yard and then into the cow field behind our house. I thought we had lost her for good. But we managed to capture her. It has taken her almost 2 weeks to get used to us, but we still can't go near her without her totally freaking out. Hopefully soon, we can hold her, as she is so cool to look at and has the most beautiful coloring!
She hasn't started laying yet, and really doesn't even have the red face yet, so I'm unsure of her age. Anyone have any thoughts?
I just adopted five EE pullets from another BYCer, and I think they're gorgeous. They're about 17 weeks old now, and I'm anxiously awaiting my first eggs! The two "redheads" in the first pics are Lucy and Ethel, and the other three are Cinnamon, Penny, and Sweetie.
