All Grown Up Now ~ 41 Weeks Old~ New Pics Post 223(01/15/12)~

Last one looks like an EE. I think that is an Ameraucana boy in the earlier pictures. ARent they fun to watch grow and change?

Then, I wasn't off base! As you know, I've only had one actual BW Ameraucana, Levi, and didn't get any girls with him. And I haven't had many EEs, but these are half BW Ameraucana, so wasn't sure I could distinguish them from each other.

oooooohh most adorable chicks ever!!!!!
good luck w/ your babies!!!!!!!

Thanks, all. Here are some of the kids today. Of the 5 EE and Ameraucanas, I only have one that looks male, the pure Ameraucana. The rest seem to be pullets. The black Rock looks pullet-y, but not sure about the two blues or the splash yet. About half of the BRs seem to be pullets, but no idea about the little runt BR baby yet.

Hi, I was wondering if the little yellow chick with the brown markings on her wings, she's in the feeder,(count 13 pictures down), is she a BO? I just got one yesterday like that, and was told it was a BO. Any advice would help. No one seems to know what it is. The gentleman said it was'nt a NHR or a RIR. Thanks

Here are some of the babies @ 24 days old. Was trying to take pics of the two cockerels I'll be choosing from for my keeper and got some of the EEs and Buff Orps as well.

Here is the cockerel from the Marvin Stukel lines:

This is the Olive Egger, Kathy--do the pullets ever have shiny hackles? That is making me go "hmm" on this one. Comb is girly, though.

Wheaten Ameraucana male--seems too dark to be a blue wheaten, right?

Various Easter Eggers--the first three pics are the same one:

I love watching all the different varieties growing up.

I may be wrong, have been many times before, but Im still going with pullet on the OE. Still a bit early, tho. Keep an eye out for black feathers coming in. That will be telling.

Black feathers, check. Will watch for those. The comb is quite girly. In fact, seems that all the combs except on the Wheaten Ameraucana are girly at this point. I've seen late bloomers, though, so not counting my girls just yet.

Here are some pics of the EEs from today, plus the BRs. I think I got pics of all four EEs. A couple look almost identical. I don't see any boys in that bunch of EEs so far, do you?

First two pics are both the Olive Egger:
