All hens?

My girls are about 5 months now. Do they all look like hens to you? I haven’t heard a cock-a-doodledo but one of them/not sure which does make some weird noises some time??

I see pullets as well. Even the ladies start to have a voice change and some new noises they make when they get close to laying, and some of them look pretty close!

PULLETS! Yes, pullets! I meant pullets!
Females are pullets until they are a year old. Then they become hens. Kinda like turning from teenagers to women.

I’m hoping soon! They follow me around and when I get low to pet them one of them squats some so I’m hoping she gives me eggs soon!

I have 2 Buff Orpington, 2 Easter eggers and 1 silver laced Wyandotte. They are free range so loving life! They are only in coop at night.
