Do you sell high quailty birds or run of the mill but pure bred?

i sell run of the mill pures,, and my mixes. people ( to me) seem to want the $ to go into something they can get food out of,, they dont want to spend $20 on a "pretty" bird,, they want to spend $10 for a bird that will kick out eggs so they get that 10 bucks back in way of food faster.

That's why I got rid of my cochins except my blues. They take WAY too long to grow out, and I'm gonna go with a dominique for dual purpose to sell. MUCH faster turnaround for selling.

We ate our 1st black giant rooster last week. The best chicken we ever grew; looked like a body builder chicken. They are definitely getting segregated. For once the pullets will be secondary!
