And tomorrow, I will be exceptionally absent, as my grandmother is getting her total knee surgery done. The family and I are staying in a hotel near the hospital that night, while she recovers. So that will be fun for the younger kiddos!

I think our last chicks, Hattie and Jabberwocky seem like a good choice.

And tomorrow, I will be exceptionally absent, as my grandmother is getting her total knee surgery done. The family and I are staying in a hotel near the hospital that night, while she recovers. So that will be fun for the younger kiddos!

It's gonna be an early morning...We have to be on the ferry at 4:45 am, so we have to get up sometime before that. Because heaven knows I need the extra time because I'm not good at jumping out of bed.

This is her second surgery for the knee, the first one was about 18 years ago.

Hattie is a Lavender Orpington and Jabberwocky was an Easter Egger and wound up being a rooster. Here they are grown up.
