All My Chickens..... a coop opera!

Had a probable hawk attack today… heard a ruckus earlier… lots of crows and mine were making what sounded like the egg call so I didn’t think much of it… went out this evening to find everyone hiding.. and I mean hiding! And a pile of feathers in the yard… did a quick head count and all were accounted for
I could tell the feathers were from my Salmon Faverolle and could see that Favor was a bit ruffled… but she seems fine… I checked her over as best I could but I think I will try again tomorrow… I didn’t see any apparent wounds
I wonder if Peanut fought it off

But it does stink cuz now it’s something I have to worry about! Have never had to worry about hawks

Well, the dog was disposed of at the time sooooo… and I added more wood fencing and shade cloth on the other fencing so no more issues in that area! Hopefully that’s enough!

On another subject I was just watching the news and we might get snow next week
