So this is what I use in the bottom of the coops… this is the best stuff ever.. especially the pine bark! Breaks down beautifully!

I got some PVC panels
They have a blueish tint to them and it actually seems to reflect brighter light inside the coop which good!

Let me know how you like working with the PVC panels. I only worked with the other two materials in the past.
(in panels,, I worked with PVC pipes often)

And here is the Motley Crue all moved into their new home

I will post pics of the finished coop tomorrow… I wanted to wait until it was bedtime to move them in so I could put them on the roost… they have never slept on a roost before.. but I think they like it! I was worried they were gonna get down..

Also, getting a little nervous that Tina might actually be Ike

Yall, yall, yall! I did so much work on the coop MYSELF
Hubs has to work so I had him show me how to use the saw yesterday… today I used the saw for the first time in my life! I measured, cut (check out all those angles!) and screwed everything up! I put up the roost bars and the nest box… Doug had started the back and I finished it… I did the whole front myself, rehung the door, and even put the locks on! I am beside myself!!!! It is just so gratifying!!

I know! It gets me so frustrated because here I am buying pullets to be sure and still wind up with a roo
I so hope I’m wrong! I did mention it to the girl and she said that the gold laces are tricky sometimes… but she would make it right.
