Hi I'm new here I have raised close to two hundred chickens this year. I was getting excited about my first eggs and I had about fifteen chickens that had started laying. Then about two weeks ago they started slowing down and now I have gone a week with no eggs. I have read all the articles I can find and I am still stomped. I am going through 50 pounds of food a day and nothing. I am religious about fresh water I let them free range a couple of times a week. I am lost if anyone can help I would appreciate it.

Welcome to BYC -- a little more information will be needed for us to begin to help you.
What breed(s) are your birds? Are all 200 still with you? How old are the birds? How are you housing the birds -( include not only whether it is indoor only or indoor/outdoor, if they free range or are confined but also how much total space they are in)? What feed are you giving them?

I have a very mixed flock of Polish, Silver and gold laced wyandotte, Orpingtons lavender buff and splash, Arcona's, Easter Eggers, Black sexlinks, Bantams, Large fowl cochins and Jersey Giants. I am sure I forgot someone. I have multiple pens that are 10 x 18 with attached houses that are 5 x5x 10. They free range at least a couple times a week. All of these birds are between 22 and 26 weeks old. I also have a flock of light brahmas that are eighteen months old. I feed laying pellets now to all of them (Country acres) from my local feed store. The chickens are broke to about 35 birds per coop. I think that answers all your questions. Thanks for any help you can offer

Patience is a virtue acts4me. Weekends can be very busy for people, and this forum gets a lot less traffic on weekends, in my experience. There is no need to be rude, I'm certain that wont get you the answer you're hoping for.

Most of your birds are young, give them time to start, then time to become consistent, mine never really get a good rhythm until the daylight starts lengthening, and Brahma are not particularly good layers, if those are 18 months they will stop laying to molt.

Whoa I had no intention of being rude or rushing anyone. I simply responded with the answers and then several hours later after realizing that a lot of people had looked at my post but no one seemed to have any answers I commented. Thank you all for the very nice welcome I received for a first time post. Have a nice day

Ratio of views to replies is often high.

I'm curious as to how many birds in each of the described coop/runs there are?
Are they separated by breed?
Sexlinks will start laying way before some of the other breeds.
