One of the OEGB. The weird all white downed one. Was hoping to see what it feathered out to be. I've been paying a friend to come check them and water in the morning and at 2pm. She has her girls helping as well. Told her to take pictures in the morning and at 2pm and take a count. The babies are in the garage with out tops on the bins. I've only lost any to failure to thrive, possibly coccidia or a freak drowning in the waterer. What baby was this..?![]()
Im sorry yamsMy little update time:
I unfortunately lost my brassy back hen...I don't know what happened, the night prior I fed her, let her run around for a while, she seemed fine. But I found her the next afternoon she was pilled up in the corner...
Im sorry about your lossThis hen died a few days ago. It's truly unfortunate, but she gave me a lot of good babies.

I really hate to say this, but yesterday got so hot it killed my brand new, white OEGB pair. The high got to 100 F, last week it was in the 60's - 70's.
It's so terrible, I feel so bad; like I could've done better for them....
I did get three eggs off of them, so I'm praying I can get at least one of those to hatch.
R.I.P, White's. You two were beautiful.
(I'll share pics later)
Im sorry for your lossesWell a mamma skunk and her 4 kits killed not only some of my OEGBs but some of my other babies as well
RIP Babies
White OEGB
Fawn OEBG
3 Partridge Cochins
Splash Cochin
2 WBT Japanese
Luckily I still have my Khaki and my BB Red. I also still have one partridge Cochin, one dark Brahma, and my silver laced sebright. I was so excited to start my own line of White OEGBs, they’re so pretty. And start breeding Cochins, they looked to be pretty good quality too.
Welcome back!Lost the thread, but now im all caught up
