I need to get my pen ready for hurricanes better. Or we have to get the garage prepped for housing birds for when we get another hurricane. So that's more my priority than hatching right now.

Oh, that's scary. Defiantly have that be your main focus right now. We don't need to loose more birds to something like that. That would be so sad.

Though I might do a hatch for my birthday and for Halloween. Not sure yet as it will depend on how many birds I can sell before then that I don't need for projects.

Ugh, it's been yuck here for nearly two weeks. For a more than seven days we have had heavy down pours for most the day or night. All my pens and my yard is slop.

A picture of one of the hatches from the golden blue duckwings. Pretty sure she's a blue red duckwing, but from what I understand you can get a verity of colors from them. Golden blue duckwing, silver duckwing, blue silver duckwing, bb red, blue bb red and splash in Golden, silver and bb red.

The lavender hen is getting a saddle soon. She's one of the two favorites of my lavender rooster.

I need to get some for my hens. This year was a bad year for my hens getting bald backs. I cut down on how many roosters I have, too.

No I have I think 6 total and most are pullets unlike my hatch for my Silver Ameraucana where I got maybe 2 pullets in the LF and 2 in the bantams. All the rest cockerels. Lol so many boys this year!
