That’s what someone told me a couple years ago when I asked about my 4 mixed bantam hens that look literally just like her. I looked a picture of silver quail and the color and pattern are similar but different. I plan to get them to breed true at some point.Kinda looks like silver quail? Very pretty!
Thay are so tiny now days! Back in the late 80s and early 90s when I was in Jr high and high school I feel they where a bit bigger than now.I saw some OEGBs at a local fair and they were a lot smaller than i expected![]()

I wasn’t alive in the 80s but my fawn, lavender and porcelain hens much larger than my silver duck hen. All 4 are hatchery stock but my little Chipmunk (silver) is so tiny compared to them.
