well the thing with these is I have to make them based on what I think will do well not always what I want when I first started out I wanted about a five pound cock and about a four pound hen then finding out after this year in a free range setting where I am a five pound bird cant survive on free range without extreme food supplements. so I think now as I didn't raise that stag and that pullet( the stag is about 3 and the hen is about 2 1/2 pounds give or take) on free range so I'm not for sure if that size will work but I'm pretty sure it will. So a rough out line of the finished product would be: would be the cock at about 3 or so pounds and for the hen about 2 1/2 pounds if that proves to work and also being very athletic. then color I would prefer more orange red hackles apposed to that stags dark red hackles. and as for the comb I may or may not push for a straight comb. Mainly just a tough free range breed.

Nice! I'm waiting on grow out of my Halloween Hatch. Going to get pictures soon as there is no rain going on. Once they are about 5 to 6 months ill have quite a few up for sale.
After checking out poultry shows in FL, in tge area we are looking to move to it looks very promising for raising and selling fancy poultry. The availability for purchase coop builds and people who custom build in the area we are looking to move to is abundant. I am now really excited to move there over staying in TX.
