I feel like silkies feathers are an added challenge though
I've been thinking about getting some coronation sussex at some point so I might have white chickens again

I found a breeder of Blue partridge and Buff silkies the other day Had to tell myself no... for now.
The buff were stunning though

Here pictures for proof. I have nine of them. That will change once I choose a cockerel out of the few I have. I think I have three or four cockerels. Not mature enough for me to tell right now. It will be one of the two that are blue with red shoulders.

With Silkies you don't have to worry about breakage
