Hello,
My name is Amber I'm a new mommy to two very loving goslings. I can not be a hundred percent positive but I believe I have both a male and female. I got them exactly one week ago, though I'm not sure of they're age being the store I purchased them from wasn't sure either. If I had to guess I'd put them at three weeks old but once again I'm completely new to this. I have a couple of issues and or maybe they aren't but I'm not sure. My children tell me I have just spoiled them like I do everything else and if this is the case I'm completely fine with that. So my babies Quackers and Ms.Busybody seem to love to be held. Not I problem I love holding them but I also work outside of the home. When the children are her they are still held as is pleasing to them. The other day we were away from the home for several hours. Upon entry the babies were frantic and seemingly crying. When I picked them up they were extremely warm but the temperature of they're bed didnt reflect the same temperature. As soon as I picked them up they immediately stopped crying but continued to pant for about 5 minutes until calming completely and falling asleep. I held them for about an hour and placed them back in they're bed. Immediately they began to cry once again. I put my hand in they're bed and rubbed them and talked to them and once again they fell asleep. They seem to prefer either to sleep on me or the wooden floor verses sleeping in they're bed. And doesn't seem to like being alone at all. If I had to compare this behavior to one I know it would be toddler separation anxiety. Can this be a thing? I also bought them some electrolytes as was recommended for me to do but since I have 90% of they're stools have been very watery. They sleep but I'm not sure enough, they wake up in the night crying to where I must pick them up and hold them to put them back to sleep. How much sleep do they need? Are my babies ok? Please help me.
