Hi there guys and gals!!

Well after my last attempt when my incubator stopped working on day 20, I have started again!!

Wish me luck.

The light is on just for the pic!!

Need some advice on when to candle and what I should be looking for on what days.

I usually candle on day 10 and get rid of any eggs that appear to be all clear (infertile) and any eggs that have anything oozing out or shows a crack in the shell. Then I candle again on day 18 all that have chicks in them i put in incubator without the auto turner and leave it alone from that point. You should have chicks within 5 days from that if they haven't hatched by day 23 I candle again and any that are still moving i help hatch if they are no longer moving (dead in shell) i discard.
