I have a easter egger I want to trade or sell. She lays a nice large brownish pink egg. About the same color as my buff orpingtons lay. Im down sizing my flock to the ones that I really want. Shes just a little over a year old..if that. I'll have to look back at my dates, but I think she hatched March 27th of last year.

Sorry its a bad photo of her, but its the only one I can find right now. I'll take a better one soon.

More details PLEASE! I'm an urban outlaw with 7 Production pullets almost ready to lay and one black game hen who keeps them in line. I would really like to see the variety a show would produce.

hi, sent you an email regarding the show.

the show is this saturday, the 4th at the comal county fairgrounds. from my understanding, no selling is allowed on premises but breeders do sell some of their stock off premises if they don't win or you can coordinate with the breeders to purchase some of their stock later.

i know alot of you had a problem with the government, so i wanted to add that if you purchase poultry from people outside of their property, they have to keep a record of who they sold that poultry to and list that on a paper to show the state when it's time to renew their permit.

Are there any other BYCers who plan on selling anything this weekend at the Comal County Fairgrounds? I'm really excited about going and even my husband wants to attend.

Hey everyone. I have a ton of chicks right now! LOL

Mostly Large Fowl, but some bantams. I'd be interested in trades for other chickens. PM me if you have anything to offer!

I have Easter Eggers, Sultans, (LIMITED) Silkies, Light Brahmas, Hamburgs -- and more!

As far as I know they have no show rules about not selling poultry at the show as long as you have your permit. While it is true that you are required to keep a record of your sales I have never had the agent ask me for this when I renew.

bob, i spoke with jesse this morning and that is what he relayed to me. i can ask jackie to make sure and why they are not allowed and get back to this forum. i was looking forward to selling some of my chickens there and so i was a little disappointed.

i just spoke with jaci. as long as you have the paperwork AND the state card, you are welcomed to sell your birds.

the confusion came since some of the 4H kids who do not have the state card, want to rehome their poultry for a fee. THAT cannot be done on premises.

I don't live in TX, but I am only about 15 miles from the border

right, but, if someone's flock comes up sick and your name is on there as having purchased, doesn't that mean there's a possibility that the "government" will be knocking on your door? ....don't kill me bob, just asking....
