My feed n seed had a dozen or so ameraucana (i suspect more of the EE than true, though) that were solid pale yellow. Is this what they look like? all were very fluffy around the face, very active, and green legs.

If this is it, I have four. I am not partial to them, the chicken hawks seem to enjoy all my white birds too well. I thought they were cute and had a moment of weakness about yellow chicks.

I live just SW of Killeen if its close enough for you, and IF they are what you're looking for.

How did those RIR eggs do for you that you got at the Fancy Feathers show?

Folks she got a great deal on some top show quaility RIR eggs. The deal was so good that she got 2 dozen of them.

actually, it was a little sad. someone had stolen two eggs out of one of the boxes so i ended up with 22 but great news, 17 hatched. they're in my kitchen cuz i don't want the mosquitos to get them! i'm treating them like gold. they're healthy little boogers and i love them. i'm building a new pen for them and my other RIRs. hopefully, it'll be done by this weekend.

i spoke to adrian schumacher (sp?) and i'm in line to get some chicks from him sometime after Christmas (which is the earliest he can have them for me). i'm totally excited. with his chicks and kathy's chicks, i hope to have some really nice birds in a couple of years for the show.

you can tell dan, i was able to pay for the show quality RIRs by selling my serama eggs and chicks. LOL

Royal Palm Turkey Poults: 4/18 (7), 4/27 (3), 5/2 (1) - $9 to $10 a poult.
