Here is a current photo of him:

Here is a photo of the cockeral (front) and pullet (next to him, behind). Sorry they aren't professional type photos. He is double tufted but the light makes it hard to see. The pullet is clean headed. Both are rumpless. I think the cockeral is splash (?) and the pullet is blue (?). The pullet has some shades of tan, though. The cockeral is SUPER friendly is by far the hardest decision for me to get rid of.

Here is a current photo of two of the EE hens:

The one is laced/ columbian/ partridge looking and one is silver looking. I don't know if I have a photo of the wild/ brown-red one or not, but I'll keep uploading and see.

One more photo of the columbian-ish one:

Here is one tractor I can sell:

97ntjp.jpg

It is 4x4x8 with wheels on one end. It has a 2x2x4 roosting area on one end with door access and a 18"x12"x18" nesting box onthe opposite end also with a door access. There is a 2x2x4 door into the main area and it has icecube trays for food and water. Two 2x2s run the length of the coop for roosting and also serves as handles for moving it. The lattice provides lots of shade and moderate protection. It was chewed into once by something and was repaired. Birds smaller than 6 months can get out of the lattice but is good for adult birds. It has been used for over a year and has held up great. Asking $150 or can make a deal with purchase of birds I have listed. (I can't sell it until the birds sell, anyway.) Located south of San Antonio. It is heavy but can be moved in a standard pickup bed. A flatbed would probably be easier, though. I will have access to a flatbed but coordinating a time for delivery would be difficult but I can do what I can.

They are about 8 months old, clean legged. The hens lay nice eggs about a "5" on the Marans egg chart.

Here is a photo of the araucana eggs under the broodie:

There were 12 under her, she kicked out one last week. There are four more in the incubator. They are all due to hatch this weekend. The 8 Ameraucana eggs are in the incubator and are due to hatche next weekend.

Here is a photo of the broodie hen:

If anyone is interested in the cuckoo marans and the araucanas, this would be a good deal. She is only 8 months old but seems to be a very good mama so far.

Here is a photo of the "brooder coop" I will include with purchase of the eggs/ chicks/ broodie:

It is 4x4x8, the top is lattice and the sides are chicken wire. The door is also lattice but I have reinforced it with cardboard and chicken wire to keep little ones from escaping. There is a single 2x2 roost from end to end. There is also a tarp covering part of the top but it is not weather proof. It has no wheels.
