Just wanted to add that my Mille Fleur D'Uccles and American Games are laying like CRAZY. I have already hatched out about 30-40 chicks in the past 2 months. If anyone is interested in any, let me know!

ltlchicken, what will you be bringing to the Arcola trade day? Any larger birds or all chicks?

i'll have some juvie blue and black cochins, some serama cockerals and RIR pullets that will be 4 weeks old come trade day. i'll also have some black sex-links that are 2 years old and laying. these guys were on pasture and my friend decided to get new pullets so she's letting these go. i have guineas, seramas, RIR and cochins in my incubator.

my friends in danbury will be bringing silkies, sizzles, frizzles, palm turkey poults and i think some of their quail which are CA valleys and blue slate.

i know a lady trying to find a buyer for her bantam japanese chicks. she just wants them gone and is selling them for $2 a chick. i think she said they were 3 weeks old. that's a good buy. she also has a pair of golden pheasants for $85 and the hen is laying.

my other friend in santa fe will be bringing quail, probably coturnix and bob whites, australorp chicks, leghorn chicks, columbian wyondotte chicks, buff cochin chicks and production red and RIR chicks.

my friend from the splendora area will be bringing production red laying hens, delaware chicks, guineas, ducks of all sorts, calls, wood, geese, turkey and pigs and rabbits.

i gave the flyer to the peacock lady in conroe. she didn't show for the march one but said she'll be there for this one.

there's a guy that comes from centerville and he brings finches and canaries.

those are the immediate one's that i know of. probably more than you needed to know. LOL sorry

I'm looking for an organic egg incubator. I would prefer a cochin, but would a silkie be a better broody?

IHeartCapnHook,

I have a friend that has some. I'll call today to see if he has any for sale if you would like.

He lives around Purtis Creek State Park, down by Cedar Creek Lake.

He's been working on them for three years.

Nate

Do you have any pictures of your cochins? Im looking for a pullet thats around 4 months old or so. Where are you located? Im in the Waco area, but will be heading to San Marcos soon to pick up some birds, not sure if I will be able to make the chickenstock or not.
