I would build my house accordingly. No way I wanna be squint all morning or evening if it's east or west. And north is too dark!Anyway that I can see the mountains![]()

you want the light from the west or east so you can see the sunrise/set. We have tons of windows to the north and south and the south ones do get a lot of light but you cant see the beauty of the last or first light of the day.Basically what I was thinking. Ooh, yes, an angle wasn't even an option in my mind. Too much time playing grid based sandbox games.you want the light from the west or east so you can see the sunrise/set. you could angle to to be both south and east or west.
I haven't really thought about it much but I've always wanted to live in a castle up in the mountains.Random, what's y'all's dream house like?
A house in the woods would be awesome. I miss treesRandom, what's y'all's dream house like?
I have a couple. I think living in a log cabin on a wooded mountain would be awesome, one with a loft and a big wall of windows. If not that, a black and white decently sized ranchy house on a vibrant piece of homesteading property. One with flowering ivy creeping up the side, and a big pond with one big oak, and a few other trees around the property.
The house isn't as important as where it is. I.e. property (for all sorts of animals), semi rural, bush land on part of it would be nice just not all. I guess with the house I like brick houses. Not a super old style house but definitely not the ugly modern stylesRandom, what's y'all's dream house like?

I grew up with woods. When we moved to this place almost eight years ago, there was nothing but grass because the folks before us kept it all mowed(for hay). Now the seven year old trees are over fifteen feet, some of them. All of them elms.A house in the woods would be awesome. I miss treesI grew up surrounded by them, and my siblings and I spent hours playing there. Now all I have to look at is dead grass
I don’t want a tiny house, I want to be able to have my family come visit, and I have a lot of family, so they have to be able to fit in there…
