All the Christian Homeschoolers!

I would be a third or fourth gen college student, I think. Online college still counts, in my opinion. I want to go in person for the experience of learning to adult, and the amazing friendships I'm sure I will find.
If I can't go to my mom's university, I won't go to college, no biggie. What's nice is that I already feel like I would belong. I met the president a few years back when my grandfather was giving a lecture on evangelizing. He gave me some school themed cool stuff, and some to give to my mom(he, and many of the older faculty, remember her fondly), and told me to think about coming. Lol, I was already wanting to. So it's pretty cool that a college so far away with over 10K students literally wants me there because they know and remember my mother personally from like 20+ years ago. And also they want students, but the personal factor is great, haha.
Pre vet sound so wonderfully fulfilling! I would get so overwhelmed in any scientific field, or I would totally go for something more than art!
Sounds like you would be super welcome! And it sounds like a amazing college!

@ChickenLover 3 welcome!
You might want to go back and edit your post and take out the grade you are in.
This is a lovely community, but anyone can join it, or see what you post without even joining.
Just a reminder to everyone not to post personal info!
Good idea. Thanks. I guess I didn't think that through.

There in a road near here, that is half gravel, and half sealed.
For as long as I can remember, it has always had a 100kph speed limit all the way along it.
The sealed parts of it are a joke, (it has got so bad someone has put up a sign that says 'no swimming or fishing in the pot holes on this track') but the gravel parts are usually pretty good.
But now, they have sealed some new sections, and some self-intitled council worker put up one 80kph speed limit sign, so if you are driving one direction, you can drive 20kph faster than in the other direction.
On top of that, the sign was half the size it should be, and there was no 'new speed limit' signs either.
We thought we would do the local community a favor, and 'borrowed' the sign; we can put it somewhere where it is more useful.

Sorry I haven't been around much, how's everyone doing?
I'm starting to feel better!

Something strange happened a couple days ago when I was most sick. I was starting to fall asleep midday, and I dreamed I was going to college.
For all of my school life, excluding the formative years when it was easy, I have HATED school. It was always an awful nightmare.
This was just one of those waking dreams, lasted all of a few seconds, I wasn't even fully asleep. But when I woke up, I found my disposition towards school COMPLETELY changed.
I haven't done school in a year and a half, and last time I did it I was always absolutely miserable. But now I'm enjoying even math, which has always been my arch nemesis. It's so crazy to say! And I started two Advanced Placement courses(one in Macroeconomics and one in Art History) for F U N. Like what???
I had also been planning the last few years to not go to college, but now I've got a plan for it. Associate's at a community college, Bachelor's at the university my mom went to(which I had always said I'd love to go to if I went to college).
I think the Lord decided it was time for me to get up and get going again.
So this is what it's like to love learning. I had forgotten.
