All the Christian Homeschoolers!

Ah, my boyfriend is of Czech descent. Last he was here, we stopped by the closest goodwill and he found an extensive collection classical compositions on vinyl records. They're sitting in a room at my house, since he wasn't able to take them home yet. Names on the cases include: Bach, Corelli, Couperin, Handel, Purcell, Rameau, Scarlatti, Telemann, and Vivaldi for the "The Baroque Era" volumes. It looks like there are seven or eight different sets of "Era" volumes.

I don't have a record player but if I did I'd have tons of records because the thrift stores around here are well stocked with them.

I've been alrightish, I've been crocheting like mad for a festival I'm vending at in April but now my hand is acting up. Algebra 1 is kicking my butt and language arts is confusing. But we have Cornish Cross chicks coming the last week this month so that'll be fun, I've also been researching meat rabbits because it is a possibility that we might start doing those and I would run that project. How about you?
Ohh, the rabbits, that's so much fun! My little sister is going to do rabbits for 4H this summer. It's her first year.
Chicks are also super exciting, as always. :D
What sort of things are you crocheting for the festival?
I will be praying for your hand. Tendons, joints just getting sore from all the use?

Well, I suppose you missed all the excitement last fall, since you were busy. I was introduced to a guy (I call him "Stranger" here) from out west and now my future plans have been fairly well shifted. Lots of excitement with his visits and the fun things that have been happening in between. Less fun now, since you don't get to experience all the mystery and curiosity, lol.
More immediately, I got a sewing machine and embroidery supplies and have been getting into all that. It's quite a lot of fun! I'd wanted to do that sort of thing for years, and now I can! Plus I'll be able to take these tools and skills with me when I have a family.

My first real work of embroidery, after learning basic stitches for a couple of hours. IMG_20240302_143307.jpg

Hopefully my dad agrees to the rabbit plan, I haven't talked to him about yet because I want to have all the information. I crochet plushies for the most part. And Im assuming its just over use in my hand. Here are a few examples of what I make

Cool, what are your future plans? You'll have to share photos of your sewing, I love doing it and seeing other work. (I made a dress just last week)
