public schoolers that are soft and sheltered from things like mud, blood, and hard work.

Sheesh, I'd WAY rather be exposed to that than to what public schoolers are familiar with in their environment...

Never anything wrong with a little mud, a little blood, and a lot of hard work.

So homeschoolers have a lot of stereotypes like weird, creepy, naive, sheltered... Weird.
