All the Christian Homeschoolers!

I love my riding instructor. I work for her Wednesday and Saturday mornings, doing the barn chores. This morning I tore up some of the metal and wood on the edge of a big sliding door with our little tractor thing(my first bit of minor damage, finally made my mark on the farm) and she said "Oh, well that's lovely, looks like the wood almost broke." And went on with something else. No admonishment, just "Aw man". They're great. She was also sick and tired(has a cold and she's pregnant, too) and I was worried she'd be more upset, but nope. Proceeded later to give me my papers so I can be put on the payroll. :)
Working there all alone in the morning is nice, too. You're mucking out the stalls, the sun is starting to warm things up, the birds are singing and flying in and about the old barn, the horses are nickering, cows are calling each other, the bedding smells like pine, and the hay is sweet.
That sounds absolutely heavenly!

I cant fall asleep as the bunkhouse in our camper is smaller. And my brother and sister like to be loud so if i dont go to sleep before them i dont go to sleep at all.
Ahh, campers. Only slept in a motorhome a couple times. Hammocks and tents are different, more room to spread out and wide open fresh air. :)

I dont do tents anymore. Although i can, but me and my family have allergies. And last time we slept in a tent we got chigger, and the bugs were horrible. Nothing like having 60 mosquito bites. And spider bites that are 2 inches big. I love being outside all day though!

Oh goodness, seems like a streak of bad luck!
I was stargazing with my ex in our backyard once, we were laying in the long grass. Next day we got up and found ourselves covered in hundreds and hundreds of chigger bites! And we were going to an amusement park that day, so hours in the car and standing in lines. 😂 We had scars for a couple months. No parts of our bodies were left un-munched. And they were living on us, even after showering! New bites showed up for a week. We had fun with it though, walking around the park looking severely diseased. 😂
I've never once had pest problems when hammocking. They usually don't find their way in, except the mosquitos, but good bug spray and a hammock net easily takes care of that problem.
