I have had a triple yoker. It almost looks to be the same size as your egg. I havent gotten any double yokers in a long time....

our first flock of about 6 Red Ranger hens would lay a double yoker almost daily and a triple like every other week. It was crazy. I've never gotten another triple since.

My first flock i had, my EE would lay them all the time every week i would have one!

We have poison ivy EVERYWHERE. And a few other lovely poisonous plants. Fortunately we usually know what to look for and can avoid it, but on fresh mowed paths, there's no way avoiding the fresh, juicy root systems that have been chopped up.

Oh no, that's so sad! I'm sorry. Hopefully you can build your flock back up, but there's really no getting them back, is there. I hope you never have to experience this again.

I'll just have to work on building a flock that is immune to it, as I don't want to have to cull them all.
(and besides I would have to wait over a year at least for the environment to clear up)

Do y'all have any stuffed animals, still sleep with them, have one special one, etc?
I have several still, and have even gotten some in the past few years. I sleep with one occasionally, which is a wolf named Slate, he's the perfect shape to hug. Kids can't have all the fun!
