Yeah, I don’t know that I would be comfortable (with my lack of experience) doing the same.

I am pursuing veterinary medicine (but I also really want to go to Moody Bible Institute which is in Chicago), although I do give one of our dogs subcutaneous injections once a month.

i'd never stuck a needle into anything before doing that

Wow that's great! I was going to be a vet to but decided not to.
