All the Christian Homeschoolers!

So when y'all go out during the school year and see some other kid out and about that clearly isn't homeschooled, what's your homeschooler thought process?
Mine is *squint, stare* "What's that weirdo doing out here in the open..? INVASION!".
XD
Mine is usually, oh wait, is it school holidays already!?

How have you been? :hugs
Also I need an opinion, should I get a pair of lavender Sussex? Chicken math/Sussex obsession says absolutely 😆
X2 How are you, and what have you been up to?
Thanks everyone! :hugs
Things have been a bit tricky at times, but I think its all working out.
And yes, you definitely need lavender Sussex, but I might not be the best person to ask....

As to what I've been up to, the answer is not that much, been doing a fair bit with our car club, and building my rally car.
And as @Somewhere_In_The_Clouds might know, two more cockerels have joined my chicken family. A bantam frizzle, and something a bit EEish looking, both very handsome!

I'm really looking forward to next year, when I have plans to move out and start my own life a bit more.

Maybe the right person though 🤗
I am so tempted! A sussex breeder near me is getting out of chickens and she's dropping some chickens off at our place for a friend soon (I'm allowed to keep some of the silkies hens if their colours are what I want). I don't know much about the lavenders but if they're decent quality $80 for a pair seems OK to me.
I am so annoyed I missed out on getting a buff cockerel (she sold them for eating! 😭).

I'm so glad you could take them ☺️ I really wanted to say I could but they're a fair distance away and one pet rooster I could possibly do but two is a bit much! They're very pretty! :love

It sounds ok to me too. Good quality sussex go for quite bit, it seems.
I think one problem lavenders can have is messy kind of feathers (I can't remember what the proper name for it is) you might want to check they aren't to bad in that respect.

:( That is sad...

Yeah, we were able to meet half way, so that worked out very well.
I have so many chickens that one or two more doesn't make that much difference, and they were so well loved and so pretty that I couldn't say no. And I always secretly wanted a frizzle, and just any mixes are my favorites, so I think it is a win win all round.
I am already in love with both of them 🥰
